- Stay away from any wire that is down, and treat it as live.
If Endeavour Energy supplies your home, its page says to stay at least eight metres clear of a downed powerline and call 131 003 immediately. For a life threatening situation, it says to call 000.
If Endeavour Energy supplies your home, it also says that where a repair involves disconnecting power at the point of supply, the electrician must be a Level 2 Accredited Service Provider. We hold that accreditation (number 5559).

Will I get a certificate after electrical work in Liverpool?
Yes, for work that needs one. NSW says the person who carries out the electrical test must submit a Certificate of Compliance for Electrical Work no later than seven days after the test. From 1 July 2026 it has to go through the BCNSW eCert portal.
The customer gets a copy by email when the electrician adds the customer’s email address in the portal. Keep it with your records for the home.
NSW says a Certificate of Compliance shows the work has been tested. It also says the certificate can assist a customer for warranty purposes.
