What certificate comes with electrical work in Kirribilli?
Electrical wiring work comes with a Certificate of Compliance for Electrical Work. NSW says the person who does the electrical test must submit it, no later than seven days after the test.
Since 1 July 2026 every certificate goes through the Building Commission NSW eCert portal. Paper and PDF forms are no longer accepted. If your email address is added, the system sends you a copy when it’s lodged. Keep it with your property records.

A defect notice from Ausgrid means part of the supply to a property has become defective. Ausgrid says tenants should forward the notice to the owner or landlord as soon as possible.
