Electrician Longueville
Faults, switchboards, safety switches, lights and appliance circuits in Longueville homes, handled by licensed local electricians at any hour.
Longueville electricians who answer at any hour
A breaker that trips when the oven goes on, or a power point that’s gone dead, needs a licensed electrician in Longueville. Our electrician Longueville team takes calls at any hour, every day.
The price is agreed before work starts and stays fixed once you approve it. Evening and weekend rates differ, so we quote your visit first.
What electrical faults show up in Longueville homes?
The 2021 Census counted 639 separate houses in Longueville, against 11 flats or apartments. A house has its own switchboard. That’s the panel that splits incoming power into circuits.
It holds the circuit breakers and, on a newer board, the safety switches. A safety switch cuts the power the moment current starts leaking to earth. A damaged appliance lead can cause that. If one keeps tripping, fault finding on tripping circuits traces the cause instead of just resetting it.
Ceramic fuses, or a board with no safety switch on the power and lighting circuits, need a closer look before anyone adds a circuit. We price a switchboard repair or upgrade before we start.
Signs your Longueville board needs a look
- A breaker or safety switch that trips again within minutes
- Lights that dim when the kettle or heater starts
- A panel that feels warm, buzzes or smells burnt
- Ceramic fuses in place of breakers
Lighting, appliances and power for Longueville households
A cooktop, wall oven or heater is a heavy load. The board has to carry it. Our oven and cooktop installation covers the circuit and the hook-up.
Old downlights can be swapped for LED lights. A ceiling fan needs a solid fixing and a circuit that can run it. We do both, and we fit smoke alarms too.
Emergency electrician Longueville: any hour, any day
No power, sparks or a board that won’t reset deserves a call on 1300 164 206. We answer 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and agree the price before work starts. Our emergency electricians cover every hour.
- Look at your board for a tripped safety switch or main switch.
- Unplug the heater, kettle or other appliance that was running.
- Treat any fallen line as live and keep well back.
- If the board won’t reset, call us at any hour.

Do I get a certificate after electrical work in Longueville?
NSW says electricians must submit a Certificate of Compliance for Electrical Work after electrical work. The person who does the electrical test submits it to Building Commission NSW. The deadline is seven days after the test.
From 1 July 2026, every certificate goes through the eCert portal run by Building Commission NSW. Paper and PDF forms are no longer accepted. The customer is emailed a copy when the electrician adds their email address. NSW says a certificate can help with warranty claims on the item installed.
